Repointing and rendering complete; now on to the extension. Lots of demolition and dust!

From the pictures below it looks like nothing has happened, but we are in the process of repointing and rendering the house - a long laborious process that involves removing existing mortar (a lot of dust!). I added some lime to lighten the mortar and make it less porous. Biggest cost so far was the scaffolding! Extension will start second week in April.

Phase 1 has kicked off: Scaffolding is up for repointing and rendering, and the garden is a clean slate and ready for landscaping after the extension has been built. Phase 2 will begin in April.
